GeoSLab develops technologies to optimize the processing of data needed for water resources management, natural risks prevention, development of action plans and management of natural disaster, definition and management of protected areas and other environmental activities.

In the area of hydrology, GeoSLab has a proven experience collaborating with Spanish and French River Basin Authorities, the Spanish Ministry of Environment, the Departments of Environment of Regional Governments as well as other companies specialized in environmental consultancy.

Our most outstanding product in this area is HydroSpatium: an information system that provides access to different interesting data generated and compiled in compliance with the Water Framework Directive and related to the hydrological planning of a territory.

HydroSpatium has been implemented in the Department of Environmental Quality and Water of the Autonomous Region of La Rioja (Spain) as an information management tool applied to hydrological planning and adapted to the Water Framework Directive requirements, with the name of SIARioja (Water Information System of La Rioja).
