Meeting of the Working Group of The Infrastructure of Spatial Data of Spain in Zaragoza

The IDEE Working Group is composed by experts and developers involved in the implementation of Spatial Data Infrastructures in Spain, at all levels, according to principles of INSPIRE and taking into account last available technologies. This open and collaborative group, in which GeoSLab participates actively, meets twice per year (usually in spring and autumn) and counts with the assistance of technicians and researchers of public entities, research centres and private companies.

Next 20th April, the Institute of Aragón for Engineering Research (University of Zaragoza) and the National Geographic Institute (Government of Spain), together with the Geographic Institute of Aragón (Government of Aragón) and the Office of Participation, Transparency and Open Government (City Council of Zaragoza) organize the spring meeting of IDEE Working Group, where the assistance of more of 80 first level experts is expected.

Prior to the working session, the winners of the first edition of Pedro R. Muro-Medrano awards for final studies projects in the scope of spatial data infrastructure technologies will be announced. The meeting will be complemented with technical and informative lectures and will count with the conference titled: IDEZar: success basis of a local SDI”, in charge of Mª Jesús Fernández Ruíz, Head of the Office of Participation, Transparency and Open Government (City Council of Zaragoza).
