USAGE PROJECT CONFERENCE: NEW DATA SPACE OF ZARAGOZA
This week took place in Zaragoza the final event of the European project USAGE (Urban Data Space for Green Deal), which aims to facilitate the access and use of climate and environmental data at urban level, following the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles.
In this closing conference, the different use cases developed in the project were presented, reflecting the results of the work carried out.
Specifically, several visualisation tools developed by Geoslab were showed:
- Emissions viewer (https://idezar-sig.zaragoza.es/servicios/visorEmisiones/)
- Heat island viewer (https://idezar-sig.zaragoza.es/servicios/visorIslasCalor/)
- Photorealistic city viewer (https://idezar-sig.zaragoza.es/servicios/visor3D/), which is a pilot experience for the visualisation of different layers of environmental data on the 3D view of the city.
In addition, the new Zaragoza Data Space (https://www.zaragoza.es/sede/portal/espacio-de-datos/) was also presented, a project in which Geoslab has collaborated in its implementation and start-up.
“The Zaragoza Data Space is the ecosystem in which the voluntary sharing of data takes place, ensuring the ability of each participant to maintain control over the data provided by defining the terms and conditions that will govern its permitted uses. It integrates the mechanisms for its governance and technical means that guarantee trust and security. ”
The Data Space will continue its evolution, with a new phase of data inventorying and a subsequent one of integration and centralisation of the data sets of interest of the different municipal areas.
