X MOBILITY CITY INNOVATION DAY: OUR GEOGRAPHIC INTELLIGENCE VISION OF THE CITY

The 10th edition of Mobility City’s Innovation Day took place on 2 June, focused on urban spaces viewed as citizen laboratories that create and develop innovative projects. At Geoslab, we were delighted to take part in a panel of experts to share our vision of the city from a technological perspective and our specific approach based on geographic intelligence.

This event, organised by Mobility City and the Ibercaja Foundation in collaboration with ZEBRA, was attended by experts from the logistics, mobility and technology sectors, as well as representatives from public institutions and entrepreneurs.

The event aimed to share knowledge and ideas, as well as to inspire attendees to adopt new strategies that promote innovative solutions, primarily in the areas of mobility and urban planning, but without excluding other aspects of the Smart City.

The conference was opened by the director of Mobility City, Jaime Armengol, and the Councillor for the Economy of Zaragoza City Council, Carlos Gimeno.

On behalf of Geoslab, our colleague Juan López de Larrínzar took part in a panel of technology experts, sharing our experience and vision regarding the development of services for the smart city. We were joined at the table by CIRCE and Nommon Lab. We were able to share some of our most innovative recent projects, such as the Zaragoza City Council’s GeoDemographic Viewer and the project to build a 3D model of the city of Zaragoza, which will provide a huge opportunity for professionals such as architects and urban planners to deliver valuable services to the city. We also discussed key concepts such as data spaces and Artificial Intelligence with our fellow panellists. And we dared to imagine the city of the future from our unique perspective of geographic intelligence and technology.
